2011年10月24日下午4点，新主楼A1148，英国Leeds大学交通研究所Ronghui Liu教授给管院的师生带来了一场Fundamental Diagram and Supply Curves for Congested Urban Networks（拥挤城市交通网络中的基本图和供给曲线）的精彩讲座，讲座由黄海军教授主持。
本次活动由北航科研办主办，经管院研会协办。经管院的老师和学生们用近乎座无虚席的实际行动来表达了自己对这场报告的兴趣，以及对学术活动的热情。除了北航的同学，北京交通大学和北京工业大学的同学们也积极参与了这次讲座。
刘教授利用发展交通领域中的计算机模型，分析了复杂动态的交通行为。尤其是对城市交通网络的基本图和供给曲线的生动解释，给同学们留下了深刻印象。
报告中，我院老师和学生针对研究内容提出了许多问题和建设性意见，现场气氛活跃。会后互动环节，与会听众亦提出自己的疑问并得到刘教授的解答，刘教授也详细记录了老师和同学们提出的宝贵意见。讲座在热烈的气氛中圆满结束。
